Meet The Team
Loki
The Nose Behind the Mission
Loki is the heart and nose behind Clarity Mold Dogs and the first professionally trained mold detection dog in Minnesota. As a certified mold detection dog, he plays a central role in our home mold inspection services, helping families and property owners identify hidden mold quickly and non-invasively.
An English Pointer mix, Loki joined our family as a rescue after a visit to the Humane Society that was “just to look”—and instantly turned into a life-changing connection. With expert guidance from Bill Whitstine, Loki was carefully selected for his exceptional drive, curiosity, and natural scent detection abilities, making him ideally suited for mold detection work.
He has completed over 1,000 hours of specialized training through Bill Whitstine’s mold dog certification program and continues to train and refine his skills to maintain peak performance. During each inspection, Loki works with focused enthusiasm and precision to locate hidden mold that may not be visible during a traditional home mold inspection.
Once a stray with a difficult start, Loki now plays a meaningful role in helping families uncover hidden mold and move toward healthier indoor environments. From hardship to healing, his work is more than a job—it’s a mission to bring clarity and peace of mind to the homes we serve.
Mold Inspector & Handler
Craig
Craig brings both analytical rigor and genuine heart to his role as Lead Inspector at Clarity Mold Dogs. As a certified mold inspector, he plays a key role in our home mold inspection services throughout Minnesota, helping families identify hidden mold and better understand potential indoor air quality concerns.
Like many families we serve, Craig’s own family was personally impacted by mold-related illness. He was initially skeptical that mold could play a meaningful role in health concerns. After encouragement from his wife to research the effects of mold on the human body—and through firsthand experience within his own home—his perspective shifted significantly.
A former practicing attorney with a sharp eye for detail, Craig now applies that same precision and analytical thinking to every mold inspection. He approaches each home with curiosity, care, and a commitment to uncovering hidden mold that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Just as importantly, Craig is a thoughtful listener who takes time to understand each family’s concerns. He is deeply committed to helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and peace of mind about their living environments. His work is guided by both evidence and empathy—because he knows firsthand how deeply a healthy home and clean indoor air quality truly matter.

The Clarity Canine Story
Eight years ago, our family began searching for answers.
Over time, we experienced a wide range of unexplained health concerns—from neurological and respiratory symptoms to inflammation, fatigue, and chronic issues that never seemed to fully resolve. Like many families navigating complex health challenges potentially linked to indoor air quality, we found ourselves visiting countless doctors and specialists in search of clarity. While there were often suggestions for managing symptoms, there were few conversations focused on identifying possible environmental root causes.
As our journey continued, we explored nearly every avenue available to us. We invested in extensive testing, brought in highly regarded inspectors, and spent years trying to better understand the connection between our home environment and our health. The process often felt overwhelming, expensive, and difficult to navigate—especially when answers remained unclear.
Everything shifted when we discovered mold detection dogs.
For the first time, we felt we could stop guessing. Instead of relying solely on broad testing methods and delayed results, a certified mold detection dog allowed us to quickly and non-invasively identify specific areas of hidden mold within our home. That clarity changed everything. It helped us focus remediation efforts more effectively, avoid unnecessary demolition, and move forward with greater confidence in our home mold inspection process.
Clarity Canine Inspections was born from that experience.
After seeing firsthand how impactful mold detection services could be, we felt deeply called to help other families find the same clarity, support, and peace of mind we had been searching for. We understand how overwhelming it can feel when your home no longer feels safe or when concerns about hidden mold go unanswered.
Our goal is to bring a calmer, more compassionate approach to the home mold inspection process—one rooted in trust, education, and clear next steps. We are deeply passionate about helping families improve indoor air quality, uncover hidden mold, and feel empowered in their homes again.
Most importantly, we want families to know they don’t have to navigate it alone.
